Our boutique international sales arm is based in London and represents high quality commercial art-house titles at international film markets. We launched the sales arm with the 2008 Un Certain Regard feature'A Festa da Menina Morta' (The Dead Girl's Feast) but Spier Films had previously produced the groundbreaking films U-Carmen eKayelitsha, Golden Bear winner at the 2005 Berlinale and Son of Man, official selection at Sundance Film Festival 2006. We offer financing possibilities for features shot in South Africa from our offices in Cape Town but also act as European co-producers through our London office. Spier Films also has the capacity to distribute within the UK.
