Graduating in Social Communication from the Federal University of Bahia, Marcelo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from the Institute of Humanities, Arts, Sciences and its Technologies - Milton Santos (IHAC), works in the literary segment and in audiovisual production. Poet and storyteller, he won the national competition for Literary Youth at Editora Malê (RJ), being one of the Bahia finalists for the award. He has participated in several poetic anthologies of the city, such as Projeto Enegrcência (2016), Sarau da Onça (2017) and Editora Organismos (2017 and 2018), and released "Aos Meus Homens" (2021), his debut book in poetry , which is part of the "Adé" multimedia project, which seeks, through the references of Terreiro-communities, to talk about the relationships between men.
