In a village in Kabylie, Malha is housebound due to her illness. The only cure is a so-called "eternal" snowflake that her father is supposed to bring her from the mountain tops. But it is Moh who is brave enough to go get it. Once her daughter is cured, Malha's father is going to marry her to an old guy. Moh feels hopeless and goes to the mountain where he will become a "snow salesman".
