Lola Kenya Screen, the annual international audiovisual media platform for children and youth in eastern Africa, is looking for 10 practising Kenyan filmmakers interested in making television drama films for children and youth during its 4th Lola Kenya Screen festival in Nairobi, Kenya in August 2009.
A five-day practical workshop on making television drama films for children and youth will be held with a leading international trainer with experience in both coaching professionals as well as working with children and youth.

To participate, each local filmmaker is expected to:
1. Apply, providing letter of motivation and expectations
2. Provide a detailed CV or filmography
3. Commit oneself to attend all the training sessions without exception
4. Be ready to make a short film (3-5 minutes) from the training
The objective of the Lola Kenya Screen film production workshops is to develop and build a network of professional filmmakers and trainers interested in the production, exhibition and promotion of high quality films for children and youth.
