Current Affairs is a South African Film and TV company based in Johannesburg.
The company has engaged in programming on AIDS in Southern Africa for an international group of broadcasters. These programs included a series the highly successful 44- minute film ‘Mother to Child',which has been shown internationally and locally (to great acclaim) on the BBC, CBC, TV2,YLE,ARTE,SBS Australia, the Sundance Channel, German and SABC networks.It profiled two young HIV positive women. It showed in the documentary section of the Sundance Film Festival in the US, the Commonwealth International Film Festival in Manchester, UK and the Three Continents Festival in Buenos Aires.
