The Ster-Kinekor Distribution ("SKD") division is responsible for representing, acquiring, marketing and distributing theatrical film content, from Studios, Independents and Local Producers. The Ster-Kinekor Distribution division represents two major Hollywood Studios, Sony Pictures Releasing International (previously Columbia Tri-Star) and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International (previously Buena Vista International). SKD also acquires Independent product from various Producers/Sales Agents at film markets such as Cannes and the American Film Market. SKD distributes product for theatrical exhibition to all exhibitors nationally. SKD also sells its Independently-acquired product to all TV broadcasters � both pay and free.
