Rhonda L. Haynes, producer, director, writer and cinematographer of Bringin' in Da Spirit, a provocative documentary on African-American midwives narrated by Phylicia Rashad. She has garnered nearly 25 years experience in the technical aspects of film and television production, working "behind the scenes" on productions such as The Cosby Show's, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego, MTV, John McEnroe talk show for CNBC and independent feature and short films. She has traveled as far as West Africa, Senegal and Northern India as a Director of Photography to shoot several documentary films. She is currently working on her next documentary film, Let The Eagle Scream: Evolution of Lynching In America, in addition to working as a camera operator at Fox News Channel. She earns her Undergraduate Degree, BS, at Western Michigan University and graduated Studies in cinematography at American Film Institute, in Los Angeles Ca.

Bringin' in Da Spirit was Rhonda's debuted as a Director and Producer. Since receiving a $20,000 grant from the ABC Talent Development Program in 2002, Through the New York Arts Council, IAMAA, Bringin' in Da Spirit has won over 10 awards in categories of Best Documentary, Best Historical, Audience Choice and Jurors' Choice Award at several film festivals.
Rhonda L. Haynes is Guest Film Curator for Reel Sisters 2010 (New York).
