World Refugee Day 2015 comes at a crucial time for refugee relations in Kenya and the wider region. Recent attacks by al-Shabaab have led to increasing hostility towards Somali refugees. And South Sudan's ongoing conflict has seen 560,000 people cross borders into Ethiopia, Uganda, Sudan and Kenya in search of safety.

On Thursday 18th June, PAWA254 is partnering with CARE International, Oxfam, IRC, Xavier Project, FilmAid, Amnesty International and UNHCR and FilmAid ambassador Octopizzo to bring you #RefugeePawa. With film screenings, a panel and forum and a performance from Octopizzo, #RefugeePawa is a chance for you to share your thoughts, hear different perspectives, and see the other side of the refugee story.
