The film screening will be introduced by Pawa254 founder, and world renowned Kenyan photo activist, Boniface Mwangi.

SYNPOSIS

"JOURNEYS" is the first part of a documentary series by Jim Kroft. The first episode was shot during his 6 week musical tour through China. Exploring the country through the unique perspective of a touring musician, the documentary gauges the temperature of modern China. Journeys #1 challenges the stereotypes about the authoritarian state, not by by presenting a fixed agenda, but through simply experiencing life on the road, playing music with the people, and learning about the culture with an open mind. Beyond this the documentary is in a exploration of the D.I.Y approach and attempts to push the limits of what one can do on one's own. The film is exclusively shot, written and edited by Jim Kroft and was produced on a zero budget.

JOURNEYS is a project about the discovery of the world, by one man, one guitar and one camera.
