Are you an artist, social entrepreneur, or a young professional who is somewhat naive about the technical realities concerning your passion? How do you become good at what you do in all aspects? It is important to note that being talented is not enough. Being passionate helps, but it's the hard work that counts…

When we are passionate about something, we often need people to give us advice on the direction we ought to take in order to be successful. Professional instruction certainly goes beyond family and education institutions level hence the need for mentorship.

Have you been mentored by anyone before? If yes, did it help?
Do you think mentorship is important to you or to anyone?
Can peers mentor each other?

This Saturday we host the Mara Foundation, a social enterprise that focuses on supporting and encouraging entrepreneurship in Africa. They shall be educating us on the new platforms they are creating to open up mentorship spaces for young artists, entrepreneurs and anyone who is hungry for advice from someone who is successful in a particular profession or field.

You are encouraged to join mara.mentor.com, an online platform, designed to enable, empower, and inspire students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and young people who are passionate about business.

Our family of amazing poets and musicians shall also serve a cocktail of poetry and music based on mentorship!
