The festival is organized each year by the Center of Theatrical Animation of Lubumbashi (CATHEL). It mainly aims at promoting an artistic dialogue between the various linguistic zones of Central Africa and Southern Africa-Portuguese, French, and English-speaking regions. Where the languages separate the cultures, in particular the theatre serves as a link-Kingdom of Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania, Chad, Togo, the USA, Zambia, and Zimbabwe have all participated.
