This is not a dance. It is Amal telling her story through a belly dance. Her movements, her feelings and the reaction of the audience are a form of narration to describe what happened to her. Forced to leave her country and find herself in a new place, her only amal (hope in Arabic) is that someone sees her pain. That someone in the audience sees her. Sarah seems to be a reflection of Amal's feelings.
