First religion in Benin, Vodun is the last to get a day to be celebrated after Christianism and Islam that already have at least three. This is a capital event for Benin who just solved a radical issue, as Vodun is the religion of 60% of the population. "The first will be last" is a documentary about the first celebration officially authorized for Vodun, on January 10th of every year. Aside from rejoicing, libations and sacrifices, the movie gives an historical insight on Ouidah and Grand-Popo, with different people speaking about Vodun as religion and factor of development.
