Ken is a popular pastor dedicated to alleviating poverty in the slums. His marriage to a nagging wife is in the doldrums. Ken befriends Lorna, a beautiful ambitious girl who is dead set on leaving the slums for an affluent life on the other side of the tracks. Ken is irked by the illicit brew that is destroying families in the slums. He leads a group of angry women and together they destroy an illicit brewery. Ken has also applied for funds to initiate a project to help the slum dwellers empower themselves.
Meanwhile, Lorna enters Ken into a beer competition without his knowledge. People hear about Ken the preacher who destroyed the illicit brewery, winning a beer competition and having a possible love affair with Lorna. The Bishop and Keziah give him an ultimatum. Either lose the money or lose everything!
