This feature film is directed by Malik Lakhdar-Hamina, son of the great Mohamed Lakhdar Hamina, the only Algerian and Arab holder of the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival (1975). Born in 1962 in Tunis, Malik wrote several screenplays before directing in 1988 a medium-length film entitled "Un jour invraisemblable".
