After studies of ethnology Marion Lavabre did a training course in photography (the Nomadic Studio). Project leader with the association Alter Ethno, she organizes events around journey diaries and photography, intervenes in schools, brings an expertise in the field of the ethical tourism and of the humanitarianism. As artist she exposes regularly as carnettiste or photographer and is brought to make long-term reports especially in Africa. She works at present on the question of the femininity in Afar culture (Ethiopia).
