Based in New Orleans after many years living in Paris, Rome, Oslo and L.A., Vivian Norris holds a Ph.D. from the University of Washington in Seattle and wrote a dissertation focusing on Globalization and Anarchy in Cinema: Who Wins and Who Loses in the Entertainment Wars? A freelance journalist, she founded Vigilante VNM Productions. OBAMA MAMA (2014) is her first feature documentary.
