Dear students,

Who wants to save Amicale Afrique? Most of the members of the current executive office will be leaving their positions at the end of the academic year. The General Assembly that will take place

on May 4, at 6pm, in the Graduate Institute's library, Voie Creuse 16 (room next to the toilet)

will try to find motivated people to continue Amicale Afrique's work, are enthusiastic about organizing interesting events related to Africa and contribute to the Institute's social life. The workload is not very big, and we will be happy to give you all the advice and contact information that you need.

If you are interested in becoming member of the executive office of a student association and keeping Amicale Afrique alive, don't hesitate to contact us at amicale.afrique@graduateinstitute.ch. We may be biased to tell you that you won't regret it!

L'Amicale Afrique@IHEID risque de s'éteindre.. Plusieurs des membres du bureau executif vont devoir quitter leur poste à la fin de l'année universitaire. La prochaine Assemblée Générale, qui aura lieu le

4 mai 2009, à 18 heures, à la bibliothèque de l'institut, Voie Creuse 16 (salles à côté des toilettes),

sera l'occasion de trouver des candidats motivés pour poursuivre les activités de l'association. Il ne s'agit pas d'une grosse masse de travail (les anciens seront toujours là pour aider..) mais d'une opportunité de participer à la vie sociale de l'Institut en organisant toutes sortes d'événements en lien avec l'Afrique (conférences, soirées, exposition....).

Si vous souhaitez participer aux activités de l'organisation et sauver l'Amicale, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter à amicale.afrique@graduateinstitute.ch. Vous ne le regretterez pas !
