This journey produced a musical album "Primitive Love" in 2008, marking thereturn of the polyrhythmic traditions of central Africa. Since then, Abakuya’s sound has evolved and been enriched with new textures, weaving fine electro-acoustic compositions that are sometimes gentle, sometimes wild.
