The seventeen artists whose works are represented in the exhibition are globally networked. Several of them have spent many years abroad, a number of them currently in foreign countries or else commute between different countries. A picture begins to emerge, which by no means corresponds to the clichéd image in Germany of the Arabic woman. The exhibition offers a differentiated perspective on the region through the works of the artists, wich invite viewers to reevaluate biased perspectives and misinterpretations.
