The 3rd edition of the Kenya International Film Festival (KIFF) is scheduled to take place from October 22nd to November 1st 2008. The theme for the festival is "celebrating our cultural diversity".

The 2nd edition of KIFF - 2007, saw an entry of films and filmmakers from the East African region: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Ethiopia, Sudan, Rwanda, South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The festival included daily screenings at four auditoriums, students' forum, four workshops on capacity building, film premieres, artist cafeteria and community screening.

The event was supported by the Embassy of France in Kenya, the Kenya Film Commission, Italian Institute of Culture, Goethe Institut-Nairobi, Alliance Française, the Government of Kenya and Celtel Kenya.
