Cette petite phrase "hypocrite" de Roger Nols nous introduit au cœur des débats, discours et faits, sentiments et réalités auxquels se livrent les "blancs" sur l'immigré et l'immigration. Quand on aborde le problème de l'immigration, du racisme, il s'agit presque toujours du point de vue des "blancs sur les noirs". Ici le propos est autre, il s'agit bien d'un débat haut en couleurs, entre blancs. L'immigré n'en n'est pas absent, il est dans la bouche de chacun des intervenants: auditeurs, hommes de la rue, hommes politiques.
