The word "Teza" means "dew".

In 1970 young Anberber has studied in West-Germany and returns post-graduate to Ethiopia. Once in Addis, however, Amberber cannot stomach the anti-dissent of the new so called Marxist regime. As he witnesses a brutal murder, he is ordered on a mission to East-Germany. He uses an opportunity to escape to the West until the Wall falls and Ethiopia's regime comes to a closure. Now 60-year-old Amberber arrives finally at his home village… It's a story about hope and disillusionment, about foreignness and homeland.

Υπόθεση:
Σκηνοθετημένη από τον Αιθίοπα σκηνοθέτη Χαϊλέ Γκερίμα, ο οποίος υπογράφει και το σενάριο, η ταινία αυτή διαπραγματεύεται την παράδοξη θέση & πορεία μιας συγκεκριμένης γενιάς της Αιθιοπικής διανόησης, όπως τον ίδιο τον σκηνοθέτη και τον πρωταγωνιστή της ταινίας. Η ταινία του Gerima παρουσιάζει ένα πλούσια εκτεταμένο πορτραίτο ενός άνδρα που έχει εγκλωβιστεί ανάμεσα στην εξορία και τις τρομακτικές συνέπειες του βίαιου παρελθόντος της πατρίδας του.
