With a Tunisian father and a French-Italian mother, Anissa Daoud grew up in Tunisia. In 2001, she started working on stage with renowned directors such as Mohamed Guellati and Lofti Achour. She collaborated on the creations of the French-Comorian choreographer Karry Kamal Karry, and acted with the French-Togolese company, Gakokoe. In cinema, she has worked on several feature films, among which is "La Tendresse du Loup (Tender is the Wolf)", by Jilali Saadi, and for which she was awarded the Award for Best Female Actor at Alexandria (Egypt), Tarifa (Spain) and Oman. In 2010, she returned to her Neapolitan roots, playing Juliette in "Romeo and Juliette", directed by Alexander Zelding, for the Naples Theater Festival. Together with actor and musician Jawhar Basti, she founded APA, a different artistic production structure based on meetings between artists from different disciplines that feel the desire to interchange experiences and talent.

Self-taught and versatile Anissa Daoud was known initially as a multi-award-winning actress, then as a producer and more recently a director. She co-founded the A.P.A.: ARTISTES PRODUCTEURS ASSOCIÉS a production tool that resembles her. She navigates between theater and cinema, carrying art house films and projects with strong political content. As a film director, she made the feature documentary "Our Women in Politics and Society", and co-wrote and co-directed the short film "Best Day Ever" along with Aboozar Amini, which opened the Directors' Fortnight at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. While pursuing her career as an actress and producer, she is currently developing the script of her first feature fiction film LES IMMORTEL(LE)S.

Anissa Daoud has participated in over 30 projects in both theatre and cinema, in Tunisia, France, Italy, Syria and Palestine. She has been involved in various projects as an actress, author, producer and director. Anissa has won several awards as an actress in Jilani Saadi's "Tender is the Wolf" (2006), Fares Naanaa's "Borders of Heaven" (2015), Kaouther Ben Hania's "Beauty and the Dogs" (2017) and Lotfi Achour's "Burning Hope" (2017). She has also directed two documentaries, including the feature film "Our Women in Politics and Society" (2016), and co-directed with Aboozar Amini the short film "Best Day Ever" (2018), presented at the Directors' Fortnight "Tunisia Factory" at Cannes Film Festival.

De padre tunecino y madre franco-italiana, Anissa Daoud creció en Túnez. A partir de 2001 trabajó en los escenarios con directores de la talla de Mohamed Guellati y Lofti Achour. Colaboró en las creaciones del coreógrafo franco-comorano Karry Kamal Karry y actuó con la compañía franco-togolesa Gakokoe. En el cine ha trabajado en varios largometrajes, entre los que destacaremos La Tendresse du Loup (La ternura del lobo), de Jilali Saadi, por el que obtuvo el Premio de Interpretación Femenina en Alejandría (Egipto), Tarifa (España) y Omán. En 2010 regresó a sus raíces napolitanas al interpretar a Julieta en "Romeo y Julieta", dirigida por Alexander Zelding, para el Festival de Teatro de Nápoles. Con el actor y músico Jawhar Basti, fundó APA, una estructura de producción artística diferente, basada en los encuentros entre artistas de diversas disciplinas que sienten el deseo de intercambiar sus experiencias y su talento.

Anissa Daoud är en fransk-tunisisk skådespelare, manusförfattare, producent och regissör. Hon har en rad prisbelönta skådespelarinsatser bakom sig, är medgrundare av produktionsnätverkat APA (Artistes Producteurs Associés) och har producerat två kortfilmer. Hon har regisserat två dokumentärfilmer, och arbetar för närvarande med sin första egna kortfilm The Bath samt sin första långfilm Les immortel(le)s.
