Born sub-Saharans in the 1940s, they studied "in the school of whites". They carry the blood of their fathers, glorious soldiers of France. After the dreamed independences, these hopeful activists won the Metropolis, fought for a united Africa (FEANF) and militated for the Brotherhood between peoples. They are the Aunties and Tontons of Lyon, deans of their communities, travellers between worlds.
This film was produced in collaboration with the Africa50 Collective, which brings together more than 30 African associations in Lyon. The production and direction is largely done on a voluntary basis.
