NAFAS means « breath » in literary Arabic. Vital breath, it is the force that nurtures, inspires and creates. The trio has imagined an eclectic and mixed jazz transcending cultures and social belonging. Between free jazz, fusion and world music, their repertoire travels along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea mixing African and Oriental influences. Made of original compositions and revisited traditional themes, the repertoire is sustained by improvisation and spiced up with a touch of electro.

Ahmad Compaoré: drums, percussion / Fred Pichot: saxophones, flute, electronics / Sylvain Terminiello: electric bass.
