What is the Creative Business Cup?



The Creative Business Cup (CBC) is a unique global network and marketplace that allows creative entrepreneurs to scale their business concepts, connect with investors and partners and boost their international business potential.



There will be four Creative Business Cup Challenge Prizes, which will be in areas of: Health (non-food), Food, Play & Learn and Smart Living.



The highlight of the Creative Business Cup is the annual World Championship for start-ups. The best, most innovative and most promising creative start-ups from more than 50 countries meet in
Copenhagen to participate.
Business Angel Copenhagen and Creative Business Cup are hosting the 14th EBAN Winter University on November 17– 18, 2015, in Copenhagen. With over 1000 participants, the event will be a place for start-ups with creative business ideas to meet investors. In 2014, EBAN Winter University took place in Helsinki, Finland and attracted more than 350 investors from around the globe.
All start-ups coming to Copenhagen will meet more than 200 Business Angels and Investors!



Prizes:
National Winner
The national winner will represent Kenya at the International Finals in November in Copenhagen, fully catered for by the national hosts, Junior Achievement Kenya.



This year, we shall also select our top 20 startups to be submitted for the Finals for the following categories;
• Investor screening: CBC Investor Board will select the most invest-able start-ups for Investor Pitching at the International Finals in November in Copenhagen. The CBC Investor Board will select the most invest-able from all the startups that are submitted.
• CBC Stay: The most innovative start-ups will be screened and selected for the possibility to win CBC Stay, a three month Business Development Program in Denmark in 2016 with free
office space, free housing, integration with the creative Danish start-up eco system and much more.
• Innovation Matchmaking: CBC will give the startups the possibility to pitch their best ideas to established companies needing help to solve their innovation challenges. CBC will select and match our startups with these companies from the CBC Connect network.
• Competence building and mentorship: Experts and mentors will through webinars, workshops, seminars and plenary sessions provide new knowledge, share experience and give useful advice, before during and after the CBC International Finals.



CBC has won The EBAN European Business Angel Network Winter University 2015! It will take place during CBC in November and in the same location.This year they will be joined by start-ups from over 50 countries participating in the Creative Business Cup.



What is EBAN?



EBAN is the European collaboration of investors focusing on start-ups, entrepreneurs and early stage companies. It represents business angels, business angel networks, seed funds and other
high-profile investors in Europe. EBAN reaches more than 250 business angel networks, which corresponds to approximately 20.000 business angels.



EBAN Winter University is an annual conference for members of EBAN where top experts within the investment field offer the newest information and insights on current trends in the
European start-up market. Between sessions, investors can participate in CBC Investor Board pitching activities and explore networking opportunities.
