Theatre Festival to open in Accra

The 2018 edition of Ghana Theatre Festival will on Monday September 24 to Sunday September 30 take place at the National Theatre in Accra.
 
It will showcase events and performances from a number of established and amateur production houses like the National Symphony Orchestra, National Drama Company, National Dance Company and Ehalakasa.
 
Others are Village Minds, Dance / Music Departments at the School of Performing Arts (University of Ghana), Laugh Line, Two Idiots and F.C Productions, who jointly and severally will rock the festival with magnetic performances.
 
Scheduled events include Theatre Programmes for Schools, Fashion Shows, Art Exhibitions, Dance-Drama, Theatre, Symposia, Film Shows, Poetry Nights and Music, which includes a special evening of classical music and comedy. 
 
In addition there will be a food bazaar and a made in Ghana fair, which will create a festival euphoria at the premises of the Theatre to ensure a tranquil and comfortable atmosphere for patrons.
 
The festival forms part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the National Theatre of Ghana.
