Zambezi News, a satirical comedy show that parodies the State broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), will do a live shoot of its fourth season on Thursday at Alliance Francaise's Old Mutual Theatre.

The Thursday live shoot comes on the back of phenomenal success enjoyed by season three of the satirical comedy show that was covered in the local press and international media such as The Guardian, BBC world, CNN, Channel 4, eNCA and Mail & Guardian. A segment of the Season 4 will be shot using the live studio audience attending Bang Bang Comedy Club.

The live shoot of the fourth season of Zambezi during the Bang Bang Comedy Club will be jointly held with the launch of the intriguing 75 percent DVD which features Comrade Fatso, Michael Kudakwashe and Clive Chigubu.

The 75 percent DVD, that was recorded at the Harare International Festival of the Arts (Hifa) last year, was a massive success at Zimbabwe's biggest arts festival.

Apart from the Zambezi News live shoot and the launch of the 75 percent DVD, The Bang Bang Comedy Club will also play host to some potentially explosive stand-up comedy featuring Chigubu, Long John, Seb Diesel and Tatenda Mbudzi.

The Bang Bang Comedy Club, popular for its quirky humour and interesting trivia on, music and society in general, is part of Magamba Network Zimbabwe's diverse programmes that include Peace in the Hood Series of concerts, Bang-Bang Comedy Club, Zambezi News TV, Hub Un-conferences and Shoko Festival.
