One hundred years after the first flight between Belgium and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Brussels Airlines invites Collectif Faire-part to screen their films on anti-colonial resistance aboard its flights. Many reasons to accept, and just as many to refuse. A conversation unfolds - about the airline's role in forced deportations, about budget issues, about the risk of contributing to the laundering of their image. But also about the willingness of some insiders to confront the company's colonial past, about the chance to address problematic policies and share a message with thousands of passengers.

NOTE BY THE PROGRAMMER
One hundred years after the first flight between Belgium and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Brussels Airlines approaches Collectif Faire-Part with a proposal to show their work on board their flights. Interwoven with archival footage and testimonies of activists and survivors of in-flight violence, the collective's internal dialogue in "What We Said to Brussels Airlines" poses a variety of questions and opens up space for critical reflection.
