Andrew King, nicknamed "DrewThoven" and more recently "The Mad Scientist", is a budding Composer, Writer, Musician and Producer. He was involved with music from the age of 4, having a passion for the Drum Kit. In 2006 Andrew started an Alternative Rock band with his friends, Jeremy and Christian Sobers, titled "Breaking The Barrier". In 2012 this band consisted of "Andrew King - Drums, Tevera Franklin - Violin, Harrison Peterkin - Vocals/Bass, Christian Sobers - Lead Guitar, Jeremy Sobers - Keys/Guitar and Jered Gilbert - Keys). Over the years the band grew and developed slowly due to the members still being students of the most prestigious and demanding educational institutions in Guyana. However weeks away from recording their E.P the band broke up. Prior to this Andrew developed a new passion and probably an obsession with Film Music after looking at the motion picture "Inception". His compositions for the band took a turn from Alternative to a fusion of Symphony and Rock.
