Hanan Motawie is an Egyptian actress born in Cairo (Egypt) in 1979. The daughter of acclaimed actors Soheir El Morshidi and the late Karam Motawie, she graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. She began her career in 2001 with the TV series "Hadith Al-Sabah wal-Masaa".
In 2025, the Salé Women's Cinema Festival (FIFFS 2025, Morocco) pays tribute to her.
