John Maina Macharia is a performing artist since 2001. He started out dancing then ventured out into percussions. His first trip was in Germany in 2001 and for the last three years he has been in Europe, Spain, France and Italy.
He plays a number of instruments ranging from Djembe, mabububu, flute, konga. He gives lessonson playing the drums and currenyl he isworking with the Nairobi Ensemble. Fortunately he has had the priviledge to record some musicin a studio with the group.
