Senegalese actor and director.

Moustapha "Tapha" DIOP is an actor (theatre, TV, cinema) and director of television films.

He is known for XALIMA MAME YALLA (1981), "Un DG peut en cacher un autre" (1991), GUELWAAR (1992), KIRIKOU ET LA SORCIÈRE - "Kirikou and the Sorceress" (1998), AÏCHA (2004).

He is made known on television (popular theatre) before seducing the cinema notably by interpreting "Aloïse" in GUELWAAR de Sembène or by playing the main role in AÏCHA (Newton Aduaka, 2006, short, Nigeria).
He went behind the camera to direct TV movies.
