In 2023, for his role as Yéré in the film Sira (directed by Apolline Traoré), he wins the Golden Sotigui and the Sotigui for best actor from West Africa.

Actor, storyteller, trainer from Burkina Faso and currently residing in Paris, Lazare Minoungou trained with Burkinabe directors: Jean Pierre Guingané, Sotigui Kouyaté, Amadou Bourou who were his masters in acting. He begins his interpretations with street theatre, forum or awareness theatre, but also on theatrical storytelling. He then interprets texts by authors like Koffi Kwahulé, Sony Labou Tansi, Kulsi Lamko on tour in Europe (Switzerland, France, Belgium). In parallel, he is also an actor in the Burkinabese film industry.
