Mariama DJERMAKOYE is a young Nigerien director, student in the Arts and Culture department of Abdou Moumouni University in Niamey (Niger), she has a particular approach to image. For her, an image must serve, it must be a weapon that serves those who have no voice. An activist for the rights of women and children, she uses her camera to go beyond words.
"Karamarad(e)" (2021) is her first documentary film, this film focuses on the fight of a woman who talks about the place of women in trade unionism.
