Hima is Mikidache's second solo album, and features several other African guests who've also made Paris their home away from home. There's Madagascan accordion whizz-kid Régis Gizavo as well as Cameroonian master drummer Brice Wassy. And maverick flautist Magic Malik even weighs in with a couple of cameos. Mikidache often shares the backing vocals with Sha Rakotofiringa, and percussionist Gabriel'Minino'Garay tops things off with a rare lightness of touch.
