Averroes was born in Andalusia in Cordoba in 1126 during the golden age of Islam. His works and the fascination he felt for Aristotle make him one of the most beautiful civilizational links between the Arab-Muslim world and the West. A strong bond, that at best we underestimate and at worst we completely deny.
