Depuis le début des années 60, cette danse célèbre les hauts faits des basketteurs centrafricains.
EN: This secular dance, performed by men and women of all ethnicities of the Central African Republic, has its origins in the traditional dances of the eastern region of Central Africa. Since the early 1960s, this dance has been celebrating the achievements of Central African basketball players.

"Certains comportements sociaux et culturels trouvent dans la danse et les chants le lieu privilégié de communication entre ethnies. Ainsi, les trois films que j'ai réalisés au cours d'une enquête ethnographique sont le témoignage culturel du peuple centrafricain, à travers trois de ses danses : Lengue, Nzale et Yangba-Bolo"
