Many people died in Ziglo, Côte d'Ivoire, during the 2011-2012 civil war between the indigenous Guéré and Mossi communities from Burkina Faso. Having waited too long for state justice, Josiane, known as Maman Jo, a Guéré woman, decides to take the destiny of her village into her own hands to encourage reconciliation between the communities and bring the village back to life.
