MK; Mandela's Secret Army, sheds light on a little-known aspect of South Africa's liberation struggle from the yoke of apartheid and shows an essential part of Africa's history in its struggle against colonial rule. The film traces the history of the military wing of the ANC founded by Nelson Mandela, the father of the South African nation, whose international history tends to hide the fact that he was sentenced to life imprisonment for founding and leading MK, and that before becoming a wise old pacifist, he was a revolutionary leading a guerrilla army... This film is also a tribute to the "unsung heroes", the men and women fighters of the last independence struggle of the twentieth century who held the ideal of freedom so high that they did not hesitate to sacrifice their lives to free their country from the oppression of the white minority.
