During my studies in Senegal, on the campus where I lived, a friend of mine was very surprised when he saw that on my identity card the name of my father wasn't mentioned. He told me never to show it to anybody or it would be dishonouring to me. That makes me reconsider my opinion about my own illegitimate child status and I try to know why people like me, don't have the right to accept and to assume their condition.
