Kaumaakonga is a contemporary band from the Polynesian Isles of Rennell/ Bellona in Solomon Islands. The band has recently been formed in 2013 and has made its own mark in some international events in the Pacific region.

Its break through was after attending the Ethno Music Festival at the Woodford Festival in Australia in 2013 and later on at te Napuan Fest in Vanuatu the same year. In mid 2014 they were part of the Solomon Islands delegation to the 5th Melanesian Arts Festival in Papua New Guinea.

Their music comprised of traditional Rennell/ Bellonese chants and songs accompanied with traditional and modern instruments. The band consist of 8 males and a female vocalist.
