The Back Stage Theatre Production (BSTP) is a group of young artists based in Strand, Lwandle Township (South Africa) mainly interested in performing arts and supporting young upcoming artists from its community. It was later registered as a non-profit organisation (NPO) on the 17th of September 2015. It is located in the Western Cape outside of Cape Town in a small black township known as Strand. Its aim is to provide opportunities for our artists to perform and expand their skills both on stage and off stage. In addition, we endeavour to create initiatives to expose underserved youth in the community to the performing arts.
