Keziah Jean is a Haitian filmmaker. She is a graduate of the Ciné Institute, a film school founded by David Belle and Artists for Peace and Justice. She began her career as a journalist and musician. When she began her studies at the film school, she had the opportunity to pursue two of her greatest passions, writing and directing. She began working as a visual communications specialist for several years at JPHRO, a humanitarian organisation founded by actor Sean Penn, where she spent her time filming, directing and editing documentaries in refugee camps in Port-au-Prince where thousands of people live in difficult conditions.

She received a Certificate of Completion from the American Film Showcase in 2016 as part of the International Documentary Workshop Program at the USC School of Arts Cinema in Los Angeles. In 2018, she joined La Voix des Femmes as a Visual Programme Officer to contribute to the development of women's leadership in Haiti. After the recent earthquake in Haiti in August 2021, Keziah was commissioned by FePouLi.Org and Artists Institute to create a documentary that captures Haitian solidarity. "Eskwad is Keziah's first independent film.
