 Rhoda Zulu was born on 10 December 1960 and hails from Kanjovu Village T/A Kachindamoto in Dedza District. She went to Likuni Girls Secondary School and Lilongwe Teachers' College before entering Domasi College to obtain a diploma in Education. She now holds an Advanced Diploma in Rural and Community Development from the Malawi Polytechnic.Rhoda has taught at Chichiri Secondary School before and has also worked at Development Broadcasting Unit of the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation as a communicator on campaign for social change in Malawi, popularly known as Kanthu n 'Karma. She is now with The Story Workshop Educational Trust as a Community Mobiliser. She has written many feature articles including short-stories and one of her pieces. Power of Prayer was anthologised in Modern Stories from Malawi in 2003.
