GAC is a tax-exempt volunteer NGO dedicated to the visual arts of Grenada since 1964. Incorporated in 1999, the GAC functions primarily on commissions from its annual open visual arts exhibition with marginal private and government donations. The Artisan Support Programme (ASP) was established in 2005 as the project arm of the GAC to assist with promoting the artworks of Grenada, through consistent lobbying and advocacy on behalf of the local visual arts community
