The European Film Festival (EFF) began in 1996. It showcases films from the European Union (EU), and is organised by the EU Member States with diplomatic missions in Trinidad and Tobago - France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom - and the EU Delegation. For the third consecutive year, the EFF is being presented in association with the trinidad+tobago film festival (ttff). Founded in 2006, the ttff is an annual celebration of films from and about Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and its diaspora. The Festival also screens films curated from contemporary world cinema.
