Genre : Exhibition | Kigali

From thursday 25 to tuesday 30 june 2015

Times : 00:00
Principal country concerned : Column : History/society, Arts and crafts
Rwanda

This exhibition will show intimate glimpses into the personal life of a Rwandan child who used to spend its days on the streets of Kigali, struggling to earn some decent money for food.

The exhibition opens an artistic dialogue that transcends age, language, culture and religion to allow the rise of new perspectives and new communication using art as a tool to confront the viewers with oneself and everyday environment through the eyes of a child.

10 children of the local street children organization Root Foundation have expressed and would like to share their feelings about life, culture and turn the viewer's gaze on the importance of friendship, family and individual hopes and dreams in Rwanda through art.
