Phiri explores the concept of 'Freedom', using an approach that challenges the co-existence of different forms and the fusion of different techniques and materials; a reflection of the realities of life.
The artist challenges the debate around the 'freedom' to co-exist with the opposite elements in society and the respect accorded to these elements.
Phiri presents a body of work that may be interpreted in different ways and he welcomes the audience to explore their personal views.The exhibit is his reaction and contribution to a topic that influences many, 'Freedom'.
Official opening : Thursday, 27th November 2014, 6pm- 9pm
